TINTINHA 2019

Origin: I.G. Península de Setúbal.
Winemaker: Bernardo Cabral.
Grape variety: 100% Tintinha.
Year: 2019.
Winemaking process: Coming from a century-old vineyard, the entire harvest was manual and transported in small boxes of 20kg. Fermentation in new 500 liter barrels (French oak).
Ageing: 11 months in French oak barrels, in which it fermented.
Bottling: Bottled in August 2020.
Soil and weather: Sandy soil and Mediterranean weather.
Colour: Opaque rubi.
Aroma: Black fruits, menthol, spices and gouache enveloped in refined and discreet toasted notes from the excellent barrels in which it aged.
Taste: It is a very engaging wine, with present, but silky tannins and a very appealing acidity. It has a deep and very long finish.
Gastronomy: Pairs with grilled or roasted red meat, soft sheep’s cheese or blue cheese.
Alcohol: 13,5%.
Total Acidity: 5,1 g/l.
Total Sugar: 0,8 g/l.
pH: 3.6.
